Adobe Flash was formerly known as Macromedia Flash. It is a multimedia platform which is used for addition animation and interactivity to web pages. It is commonly used for advertisements, broadcasting and for developing games. Adobe Flash has been positioned as a tool for Rich Internet Applications (Georgenes, 2009). The flash applications manipulate the raster graphics so as to provide some form of animation for text drawings and still images. The Adobe Flash contains an object oriented language that supports automation of objects and items. It also supports bidirectional streaming and it can also be used to capture user input through the use of the keyboards, mouse and other convectional user input devises. Adobe Flash usually enhances the user experience especially during web browsing. However, some users feel that the extensive use of animation is annoying and affects the usability of web pages.
