History was on the line at our Inland Empire Sunday Night Chef Fight as two-time Defending Champion Chef of the Inland Empire Miguel Jaimes went for his third straight victory and a chance to be the first-ever entrant into the Sunday Night Chef Fight Hall of Fame by taking on popular Riverside Chef Brein Clements, formerly of restaurant Omakase and executive chef of the soon-to-be-opened The Salted Pig.
Chef Jaimes elected to go last, which gave the spotlight to Chef Clements to begin. He put together a course of five dishes utilizing our base ingredients for this Chef Fight: shellfish, avocado, white bread, and a mystery ingredient of grape jelly. For his first dish, he
